Ciao to all, my pc must be crazy, I found the problem but I
didn't understand the reason for my block and these are 5 lines in
the [Globals] section, i deleted these 5 lines in the old
Logger32.ini, replaced it in the new install and everything works
perfectly.

Ciao Bob, tnx for your attention.
I try to explain myself better, in my uncertain English,
describing point by point what I am doing.
I think I did everything right, in fact first I did a new
installation of Logger32, then I installed L32Logssync, then
L32Lookups, then the fonts that are not by default and that are in
the ini files of Logger32 and radiocontrolpanel.
I started Logger32 with the new installation and everything
works perfectly when I copy the old folder to the new PC at
startup it happens that after starting the radiocontrol panel, in
starting something else I can't see why it appears for only a few
moments the program stops and closes after a few seconds.
This is what happens. It is not the first time that I move
Logger32 to a new HD and always, doing as described, everything
worked perfectly, only this time I just can't get over the
situation.
Not a big deal that I will have to set everything up again but
it would have been a lot easier to be able to import everything
from the old installation.
The O.S. is Windows 10 64 bit updated
to yesterday.

Me again. In the meantime 2 Gentlemen (sorry, I deleted
their emails by mistake) came up and made some additional
advise.
Well, I deleted all 5 of those files, started Logger32
without problems, 3 files were produced, made the rest with
Club Log and ... EUREKA! I'm back to business. Thanks a lot
to you and those 2 fellows.

Hi Arnaud. ? I suggest reading two sections in the Logger32 v4 User Manual: covers ‘sound card digital modes’ in general, and covers the microHAM devices specifically. ? From what you say, you appear to be able to control the radio PTT through the micro keyer II which means you are probably using the correct serial port, speed and commands for that.? ? Your problem with the tones suggests something wrong with some part of the process of generating and passing audio to the radio for transmission.? You can check that process systematically by following the audio, just as if you were tracing a fault in a radio: - Is the micro keyer II generating audio tones as it should?? With headphones plugged into its audio output connector, can you hear the tones?? If not, there appears to be a problem right there, or further back/upstream in the process meaning how MMVARI is working and being commanded by Logger32, and you.
- If the micro keyer II is generating the tones, there appears to be a problem further downstream – possibly loose connectors or broken cables to the radio, or something wrong in the radio itself (e.g. is it configured to accept audio input, or FSK?).

This kind of issue comes up whenever there is a change to the ADIF spec, the DXCC list/rules etc., particularly when changes are disclosed or announced in advance of the due date – which is often not even agreed or specified until later in the process. ? Some of us are excited by the forthcoming changes and keen to press ahead informally, even before the actual implementation date.? An example right now is chasing new DXCC countries on 60m, even though 60m doesn’t formally count for DXCC (yet!).? It’s an interesting challenge, anyway, and fun for those who enjoy that sort of thing.? Another example was the work that went into getting Kosovo accepted onto the DXCC list, and (ahead of the date) planning DXpeditions there to put it on the air as soon as the list was updated. ? Some (like you, I guess) would rather wait patiently for the due date, and for the systems to be updated for compliance with the changed rules.? ? Some are disappointed by or disagree with the proposed changes, feel things should be handled differently, and are generally conservative or risk-averse.? A few may actively campaign against the changes and stir up dissent, for various reasons.? An example here is the DXCC status of Scarborough Reef.? There are personal, historical and political dimensions to it.? The situation is more complicated than it may appear, hence the resolution is not entirely straightforward.? ? Most amateurs, I suspect, don’t particularly care either way.? I doubt they are still reading this email! ? Meanwhile, the poor software developers are pulled in all directions at once AND have to understand and interpret the changes, adapt the software and so forth in anticipation of the due date, while dealing with grief from most if not all the above groups.? Me again. In the meantime 2 Gentlemen (sorry, I deleted their emails by mistake) came up and made some additional advise.
Well, I deleted all 5 of those files, started Logger32 without problems, 3 files were produced, made the rest with Club Log and ... EUREKA! I'm back to business. Thanks a lot to you and those 2 fellows.

This is the same for all those isd,isf,isl,ism and isx files. Its always a chain of 5 (five). Therefore ... Before I take any action the question whether or not your advise "delete them all" is still the same? TIA!

Previous history ... I'm using Logger32 together with JTDX and/or WSJT-X. Fantastic combo, serves me very well. With one small glitch ... Start sequence is "Logger32" > right click "UDP" > left click "UDP Band Map"> right click "Start" > left click "JTDX" or "WSJT-X". The latter both via Shortcut "On Top" & "High Priority". Both programs start as expected but are loosing connection within seconds to my radio IC-7300. I've to close all the software involved and make a total restart including Windows10. From now on all works fine for hours.
Extra note ... That procedure has to be followed every day when loading the combo L32_JTDX for the first time.
For the time being no Logger32 at all!!
