Here's what I've found with an hour's Googling this morning ...??
Some of the CQ?awards and contests are still going:? - LoTW still supports WAZ and WPX awards but ...?
- Administration of WAZ awards has been taken up by Jose N4BAA who presumably has some way to verify applicants' LoTW or eQSL confirmations and QSL cards, and has been getting creative with the plaques - see?
?
- WPX?award?is moribund/AWOL, with mixed reports/complaints about late or non-arrival of plaques
- Anyone planning to apply for the CQ awards via LoTW is well advised to check with ARRL HQ before parting with any money [Hint: eQSLs are free!]
- The USA Counties Award is now run by the Mobile Amateur Radio?Awards Club ... that evidently lacks an awards manager - see?
- Various CQ?contests are now being administered by the World Wide Radio Operators Foundation - see?
- CQ WPX, CQ WW and CQ 160m contests have been extremely popular and look set to continue? ?
- I'm not sure the "CQ" name will endure but for now at least it remains

i don't use a laptop.? Use Dell Optiplex 5060 sff desktop with win 11 pro.? Runs just fine on 11 with that set up.? Never had a hiccup!? Also runs wjst?and wjtx with my IC-7600.? again no troubles.

John Many Logger32 users are happy with Win 11 without any problems. You may choose whatever you like. If you have problem then ask on this reflector.

Bill If you poit correct com port then try this.
Check "Set DTR high" or check "Set RTS high" or Check " USE CTS/RTS Hardware Handshaking"
This is sample settings for my TS480. It connects TS480 and PC via serial/USB adapter in my case.

I notice you¡¯re dabbling in FT8, I think I saw your call on the UDP Bandmap a while back, I¡¯ll add your call to my watch list and try and get you in the log. I haven¡¯t been on FT8 lately, I only managed 171 countries and then boredom set in hi.
