I use Flex-6400 with Logger32 and have never had any such issues.
However, Flex-8400 is another animal and I hear a lot of comments
stating it is technologically still in a crawling state...

I Googled the SmartSDR documentation, but find no reference to Baud rate/parity/etc. of the serial port. What speed settings are available, and what are you configured for?

Both Logger32 and SmartSDR have event monitors (debug windows) they?show message exchange. The clues you need are probably there. SeventyThree(s).

PS. Again, it would be nice if someone who as actually seen a FlexRadio would offer advice.

Thanks Sir. Yes i did try the poll settings and I did change it to 200ms but still happens sometimes...
