FWIW, I finally decided to vote with my feet. It got so quiet
over there that they had to start discussing the latest FCC band
bland/phone expansion ad naseum. Too much crap for my blood.
#### Now they are discussing why $7500.00 Acom linears's
won't sense input RF... and display.. "high input swr" ! It
even plays a little... "ready song" after warmup ! For $7k...
u could stick a modified to the hilt SB-220 on all 9 bands ....
and still have 2 x spares left over ! It would be very easy to
use splitter's and combiner's.... and run 4 x SB-220's all at
once for an easy 6 kw out. [another use for these 400 w xcvr's,
lol] Why don't these guys just phone Acom... who will have have
the fix..... then instead of asking the question.... just post the
problem.... and the fix.

This is the same group whose moderator once banned discussion of
multimeters and hand tools as "not relevant" to amplifiers.
### Say what ? You gotta be kidding me. The fellow musta been
3 steps below brain dead.
I hate censorship and I hate irrational censorship even worse.
### If the "censor" got rid of spam, and acted more like
an ...."administrator".. and ran it in an orderly fashion.. IE:
made sure the searchable archives still worked, came up with
idea's to enhance the service.. like PIX, schematic's, etc... I
could go for it. But banning hand tools, DVM's, gimme a
break. What's next..... scopes ? May as well end all discussion
of test gear. Tell me.... what else has been banned in the
past ?
