I use the dishwasher...with no soap. I just strip the radio/amp of all parts that water would damage, then run the remains through the dishwasher. Comes out like new. Pop it in the oven at 'keep warm' temp (Older ovens, that would be 150 to 200¡ã) Then use simple green for everything else.

I think Howard Mills, W3HM used 3 parts Fantastic to one part ammonia. He would wash and rinse in full sunshine to dry. Also if the 'leader' of the house doesn't want your stuff in the oven......
