The one glitch I did encounter is the terminal posts on the new meter are longer than those on the original. As a result, the positive terminal contacted the metal tray that the meter circuit board resides in, preventing the meters from being mounted back in place. I removed the meter and ground both terminals down about as short as they could be and still clamp the ring terminals under the top nut and washer. That fixed the problem.
