As has been said, traffic may be slow, but it's not dead.
I notice many of the newsgroups are a bit slow as of late.? Social media?
What I? like about Ham Amplifiers is that it isn't moderated, or wasn't.?? People can say what they want and let the chips fall where they may and I see none of the sickening Political correctness.
I was trying to help some beginners on FB, but those moderators would pull a post if someone was offended. It was a group with abysmal knowledge and knowledgeable old timers. It reminded me of the students I was teaching while working on my masters.? Two groups with almost nothing in common and an inability to understand each other.? If they answered using terms any of us could understand many would complain about the so called experts. OTOH the newbies didn't know enough to even ask for what they needed to know, so they'd get offended when someone would ask for a clarification.
The moderators were the typical. politically correct, "don't hurt anyone's feelings"
I gave up.
