getter the tube..... from fil heat. There are NO heat activated
getter's on a 3-500Z. On a 3-500Z.... u gotta get the anodes
to show some colour.

only] They do have 4 x getter's.... that are fil heat
activated.
### I just checked... and Eimac suggests to run the fil's
only... no HV..... "for several hours" ..on a new or rebuilt
tube. Bake em for 48 hrs as suggested.... and you are
laughing.
