Tony, I took a look at FORMAT with LABEL...I'm trying to duplicate and rename physical DASD, specifically the 8 packs that are the core of VM/CE 1.2.? These are VM50-1 through VM50-8.
The goal is to have an exact copy but rename the VOLSERs VU50-1 through VU50-8.? However, since these are not virtual minidisks, FORMAT with LABEL won't work for this situation.? I suppose I could convert them to mindisks, but am trying to avoid that for the moment.
