Re: Two New Projects

Mr. Wade,
When I started the porting effort, I had little or no knowledge of VM370.? I have always been
an application person.? So I looking at logons, gcccms looked like the place for any
"C" development.? Maybe right or wrong?????

I developed the code under gcccms and it compiles correctly and runs.? I used the
following:

gcc abc
run abc

or

gcc abc
load abc
genmod abc
abc,

Both ways work as expected.? After reading some posts stating that I am not correct
I moved abc to cmsuser.? Then ran the above steps under cmsuser.

Compiles ok, but fails on the run abc or load abc.? I get undefined errors.? So I
do not understand why using supplied routines, the compile, run, load and genod
do not work the same way under different users.

As I stated before, little knowledge of VM370, so any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank You
Tom c

The ¡°h¡± files I am referring to are those for the ¡°C¡± libraries.

There are two sets and almost all ¡°C¡± code needs at least one.

I think you need to complain to the owner of the package.

Dave,
The README file to which I am referring is on the github site (? ).? When one downloads the entire project, selecting the "Download Zip" option, the README file is included along with the folder containing the sample .BAS programs.? That zip also contained only one ".h" file named CMSBPROT.h.
