Dear partners,

On Data Privacy Day, and in the lead up to the WHO Executive Board Meeting, Transform Health is excited to unveil a new , containing resources and tools to advocate for and support more robust health data governance. The website includes:?

• A (with an accompanying Implementation Guide) and a , to support national efforts to review and strengthen health data governance frameworks.
  

• - launched in 2022 and already endorsed by 170+ organisations and governments - to guide equity and rights-based health data governance.

• 24 to deepen understanding of how countries are addressing health data governance and to take stock of current legislation.

• A with a toolkit, articles, multimedia, case studies, community voices, and campaign resources to support advocacy and action.?

These resources are the result of strong collaboration with our many partners and contributions from thousands of stakeholders across the world - committed to a shared vision of stronger health data governance to harness health data for public benefit and improved health outcomes, while upholding people's rights and ensuring data is protected from misuse.

Since its inception, Transform Health and partners have been championing this agenda, including developing tools and advocating for more effective and equitable legislation and regulation. We are calling for a global and regional framework - rooted in equity and rights-based principles - to be endorsed by governments through a World Health Assembly resolution and regional mechanisms, as a step towards more robust national frameworks.?

We urge this issue to be prioritised on political agendas and hope these resources will support such efforts. Through concerted action, we can ensure responsible data use towards improved health outcomes and UHC!
