Mark and I had a great time talking about the Kolb¡¯s first flights and the tweaks that are being applied, one at a time. Once tuned in, the airplane should be a delight to fly. Meanwhile flight #2 met the earth convincingly (on purpose, .. I was trying to stretch my glide so I¡¯d know when it would pay off in ground effect. Well, that¡¯s my story. Kemper laughed)
Make plans to attend the Saluda Spring Concert ¡°Mountain Song¡± featuring Hummel builder/pilot and, of course, Fairweather Flyer: John Wilkinson.
It sure is great to be back at the Airfield!
