? ? ? ?Thank you for this recommendation. I saw the movie “The Pilot” on Amazon Prime video. Riveting action, especially good flying and combat scenes. Very entertaining, although truthfully dark. The Russian front was hell in WW2. Ever read “The Blond Knight of Germany”? True story about the highest scoring ace in history, Eric Hartmann of Germany on the Russian front. The Germans bragged they killed three Russians for every German lost, the problem being there were four Russians in the Red army for every German.
