Re: Flurries

Leo,

Locate the closed Skyline Peak airport on the sectional map, about 30 miles due north of AVL.? The Wolf Ridge ski area is probably a half mile north of the closed airstrip, in the middle of the Wolf Mountain vacation development.? Look close for that ski area or you'll miss it!??

Let's hope that is the extent of 2020 snowfall!? They can keep the snow in the Rockies and Sierras.??
?
By the way, a week ago Sunday, while flying over the closed Skyline Peak runway, I caught a glimpse of what passes for a ski area in the Carolinas.? Grim.? It didn't make me want to drag my skis out of storage.

Getting some very light flurries of snow out here .. with just the few clouds around it¡¯s something of a phenomenon. Maybe this is the Great Snow of 2020.
