Practice session! Virtual Ice-breakers and energizers #meetingdesign #technology

Edited

Hi all - I'm working to adapt a F2F training I've designed around problem diagnosis / program design for a virtual audience. The F2F training has space for ice-breakers and energizers, some of which would translate but others not. I found on line as a reference, but also wonder if others have ideas for other resources, and/or would be interested to join a zoom call to practice a brainstorming method to adapt your favorite ice-breaker and/or energizer to a virtual format??

I realize there's a *lot* going on now, so I'd like to offer this zoom call at 7AM PST on Tuesday, March 31.?

Hi all - yay! I'm looking forward to it. Note that it will take place on March 31 (a few weeks from now; I scheduled it that way to get on folks' calendars and also mindful that (at least I am) getting up to speed and taking a lot of time during my days practicing and exploring, and don't want to crash and burn(out) on all of this new stuff.

For the URL here it is in full.?

I am sorry I doubt I can make this meeting, but I hope this tip sheet might be helpful, which I created a few years ago, but I think it's relevant here -? - Of special importance, to me, is being clear about what we hope to achieve w/ice breaker, relationship of participants, culture, available time, etc.? I think I have more on my website, and if I find more, I let post another link. Great idea to pool these ideas together! Regards, Nancy

I'm not sure I'll be able to join, but wanted to offer one relevant resource that I created last year.

It's called , and it's a comprehensive guide to check-ins, the simple, powerful tool we often use at the start of meetings.

I created the site because so many leaders with whom I work don't use check-ins.??

Using them, and using them skillfully, is even more essential as greater numbers of meetings will be conducted virtually.

If I can get my act together, I hope to create a post directing people to the site (which is free of course).

Thanks, and best,

Richard
