I recently had an experience using Zoom's Large Meeting Add-On for the first time. A couple of things were not intuitive, so I'm sharing them here!

I have an individual Zoom Meeting account with annual subscription and a limit of 100 participants.

First, it was super easy to add the Large Meeting feature on a monthly basis. Through the Account Management / Billing, I could see my account details and the options for "Available Add-Ons."

You can add a Large Meeting Add-On to increase a meeting limit to either 500 or 1000 participants.

It was easy to add this to my cart and make the payment. 500 participants is $50/month.

Bonus - the monthly fee was pro-rated?as I added this midway through the billing month. So my cost was only $22!

However, the challenge was integrating this new capacity to my account - and I could find very?little in the Zoom Help about this...

Even after paying for the Add-On, my User Profile continued to show a 100-person limit.

Here's what I had to do: Go to User Management - Select User - Edit User to select the Large Meeting Feature. This adds the Large Meeting capability to my user profile and makes it possible for me, as User, to use the feature.

Once selected, this then changed my User Profile from 100 participants to 500 participants

With this done, I was able to successfully run the large meeting!

And when I cancelled the Large Meeting Add-On (as I only needed it for 2 meetings in November), the capacity continued to be available for the balance of the billing month.
