ISO: zoom captioning recs

 

Hi everyone,
I've read other threads on zoom captioning.? Does anyone have a company they recommend?? (The search for companies results in pages and pages of advertisements.)? We tried live captioning a zoom call ourselves. I type fast and?was able to handle?the?comments before and after we streamed a video that had captioning. But I'm not fast enough for our next call,?which is all discussion!

I have found one live captioning service that uses software that I'm?thinking of trying ().? Anyone have any reviews of their service? It advertises 80% accuracy.? Also welcome suggestions for other service?providers you like.?

Do any companies do live captioning using humans?? This zoom group will be about 40 people (+/- 10 people) with breakouts. The focus is on racial justice so I'd want someone who would be a good fit for the topic (not random person).

Hi Sarah,

I¡¯ve used Rev for their transcript service, and think they are really quite good - they have a fabulous free version - but I didn¡¯t even know they have a captioning service.

Thanks for bringing this question ¡­ I¡¯m very interested in this topic as well - I¡¯m researching Zoom caption services and/or plug-ins for a client group I¡¯m working with that has varying English language listening and speaking skills, though they can all read English quite well.

Please share anything you (anyone) have learned here so we can all learn together! Thanks so much.?
