The host records the facilitation elements for a purposeful conversation (e.g. agenda, video guidance, activities). The platform "facilitates" hundreds or thousands of live small groups with the recorded guidance and allows those groups to discuss, navigate together, and move into action.

Since the facilitation is pre-recorded and always available, these small groups can take place during the "main" live event or asynchronously after the live event is over, so the host can offer sessions across time zones and geographic regions without needing to staff them all.??

Wondering how we might also attempt a more threaded and human conversation on , Google's new video messaging/threading platform.

I've tested it but have yet to use it with a group, given bandwidth constraints with many of my collaborators... Has anyone attempted using ThreadIt for asynchronous conversations, knowledge bases, etc.?

A book of interest!

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I believe there are a number of ThoughtExchange licencees on this list (as well as folks who've expressed interest in the platform). ?I wanted to let you know that one of the co-founders of ThoughtExchange, Dave MacLeod, wrote a book entitled "Scaling Conversations-How Leaders Access the Full Potential of People¡± that was released a few days ago. ?I read it cover to cover and found it quite valuable. ?I¡¯ve attached a list of the main sections in the book for my own use; however, you may find it gives you a bit of insight into the book (which is available on Amazon).

Regardless of whether you use ThoughtExchange, there are plenty of great principles and practices woven throughout the book . . .

I didn't quite understand all of Francois's notes, but interpreted them as best I could, creating a table in . It's the same doc as my original post; I'm re-entering it because it dropped off the thread.
