if you have a dual screen share set up, in the settings you can activate dual screen, then ensure you have the one you would like to record (with the functionality showing) on the one you ¡¯screen share¡¯ during the recording.?
That may help you figure out the settings before next week. You would need two screens though for this, as far as I could see.
best wishes

Very interested in seeing this, too, as I was about to try this with a group. My hack without video would be to open two meetings and screen share the ¡°dummy¡± meeting while running through the controls. Haven¡¯t tried it yet. Eager for way better ideas. Thanks ¨C Bill

Hi ?Catherine,?
I can help you, can you give me a few days, say Monday, I can show you how to make a little video with the screen sharing tools visible, and break away rooms. I did it yesterday on my side, it¡¯s quite easy once you have a bit of a script of what you want to say, maybe you can already think of the 3 or 4 things you would like them to know about.
I think you are about 6 hours behind me in timezone, can it wait till early next week?

Hello!
I¡¯ve so much appreciated the conversations and training opportunities that people have been so generously offering. I¡¯ll be doing some similar work with my evaluation colleagues, ?who are needing to do data collection, sensemaking, etc, virtually.
Some of them will need a few minutes of basic instruction, and I¡¯d like to see how ?screen share the actually zoom controls (for example how to do break out groups) with participants. So far my attempt have been unsuccessful. ?I believe I have seen others do this¡or perhaps they were little videos (which I can certainly show, it¡¯s just a bit more time consuming)
