I'll be totally honest and unashamed in my assessment of your problem and my response here. If you are looking for an open space and fluid environment to host your event/meeting, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, pretty much all video conferencing solutions are not the place to look. I've created a platform specifically for that () which will address pretty much address exactly the issues you're highlighting; but you can also explore other options like those mentioned by others: qiqo chat, wonder, spatial chat, etc.?
