Happy to chip in. Cvent and many other event management systems work as "containers" with the links to the actual sessions in Zoom or any other videoconference platforms.

Do you know how many simultaneous sessions do they have planned? That would be the amount of Zoom rooms open at the same time. We've done this a couple of times.

If you go through this setup you'll need to have a tech host in each simultaenous breakout session, in order to provide co-host capabilities to the presenter, be the backup in case the presenter doesn't show up or internet blackout, etc. A knowledgable tech host who is just "opening" the room might be able to support two breakout sessions if they have two computers, if not you'll need someone there.

You'll need to look out for who's providing the Zoom accounts/rooms so you can take it into consideration in your budget.

I prefer better other platforms like Whova or Socio, much more intuitive.

All - I just joined this group today.

I have a prospective client who is using CVENT CrowdCompass and Online Event Guide as their conferencing platform for a conference with 150+ people, 32 breakout sessions plus 5 general sessions.? They had told me they were using Zoom meetings as their platform, but I just learned they're using CVENT CrowdCompass and Online Event Guide.? My client says: "Basically every time we bring up the Zoom integration piece of the conference, CVENT throws their hands up and says “oh that’s Zoom only – consult with them, not in our lane.”?

The project I'm talking them about is to coordinate all the session moderators and be the go-to person for all the moderator coordination and training/preparing their speakers.??

If they're having issues between CVENT and Zoom, I want to be sure I know what to expect. I am very knowledgeable about Zoom meetings with large 50-100 person groups.? But not CVENT?CrowdCompass and Online Event Guide.? Does anyone have experience with this specific set of platforms and can offer guidance or talk to me about what to be aware of and watch out for??

I haven't confirmed that I will be submitting a proposal yet, but I need to decide in the next day or so as the conference is last week of October!? Yes - they just decided to hire this out.
