That all parties are honest at all times and that there is no hidden agenda. and tat science presides over superstition. In the 1950's there was a push on airframe technology and it came to be realized that the 'lifting body' concept, the idea that the fuselage itself contributed to lift, was a better idea than the hot- dog with wings air frames. A Pentagon report classified anything remotely like a lifting body is inherently dangerous and it took over 30 years for actual engineering AND lots and lots of proven results before the military would even consider such an airframe. Now, it is hard to find a military jet WITHOUT lifting body technology. The possibility, however remote that both Tesla and Einstein were completely wrong in this one area is probably more silly than the idea of a ship that can be hidden from radar. After the fall of the USSR, the US was able to take possession of a ship that had been crisscrossed with massive coils. Depending on the orientation of the ship to the earth's core, and the charge in the coils, the ship was able to have a zero net effect on the magnetic fields around the ship. This would offer a zero profile to detecting the magnetic mass of the ship. The idea that one can take a 'thing' and make it out of phase with it's environment and render it invisible in the visible light spectrum is no more ridiculous than one being able to make it invisible on the infrared or even on radar or magnetism. The technology may not exist, but how certain can one be that it will never exist ? or that some group did not cross that threshold at one time ? I'm not saying it did or did not happen. But I am saying that the possibility of it EVER happening, either in the past or the future would tend to lead to the possibility of such an occurrence. Review the laughable idea that the Earth was round, or that the sun did not revolve around the earth, or that the Earth is the only planet in all the Galaxies. I don't mind hearing people's opnions when stated as such, but to have no persoanl research and formal experiance in an area and then proclaiming something as either impossible or rediculous is a disservice to those who have the power of creative thought and scientific imagination. In other words, those that believe something cannot be done should get out of the way of those doing them. Personally, I loathe the current superstitions that claim to be based in sciences. signal oscillation
ktauyeung
I am working on a high-gain current-to-voltage amplifier. I need to
convert a very low pulsed current signal (100 microsec, <nanoamp) into a voltage signal (>10 mV) that I can read from the scope. I tried the amplifier using a low-gain (0.2 V/microamp) setting, and it works ok. When I tried it with a higher gain (2 V/microamp), oscillations (~10 microsec, regular amplitude) showed up on the scope display. I'd like to fix that, but don't know how. I need some help, if you know how to fix it and what is the cause of that, please let me know. Thanks! |

You can't make money with something not working (and possibly being dangerous). They wouldn't tell us i reckon. I really see not much positive use for this technology, we shouldn't need to hide things, should we? ST

Highly recommended easy to use and free software is irfanview. you conveniently convert pictures with it and adjust colors, resolution etc. This particular picture was not intended to be stored for eternity and was only interesting for a very few people, so i did choose to send it attached. the list set to not allow attachments at all. Why not make a folder in Files (please, -not- in Photos) and upload them there? Please use GIF or JPG, though. <ksrao_iete@y...> wrote: hi , allaccident where my one of the friend said that the person can be made invisible and that really occured in that manhatten incident and that invisible guy never came back in the world. they have done it .looking for the best replies I think you are talking about the Philadelphia Experiment. The story goes that Nicolas Tesla and Albert Einstein had worked together to help 'cloak' a ship. The test subject was the USS Eldridge, a destroyer escort of the Cannon Class, was to be tested to see if they could make it so radar would not detect it. The test based in the Philadelphia Naval Yard, but was conducted out at sea. With the world in war, there were projects that were revolutionary, the Manhattan Project was to create a Nuk-u-ler bomb. The stories around the Philadelphia Experiment include things like the test was successful in making the ship invisible to radar, but also invisible to observers, thus proving Einsteins theories about space and time. The supposed magnetic field curved space and time to such a degree that some really odd things were added to the stories. One is that the metal of the ship altered structure and became transparent, not only to remote observers, but also the people on the ship. Another is that in the bending of space and time, another ship, a flying saucer if you will, was seen by the people on the Eldridge. Oddly a town was also seen by the people. Some people guess that this odd occurrence may be due to a similar experiment in a town and also on one a space ship. It is guessed that if all three were doing a similar experiment that somehow they may have been connected by the gravity and frequency of the generated fields. Whatever really happened is something few will ever know. Due to military secrecy at the time, there was little reported outside of the normal channels and that only helps the stories. And IF they really did create such a device, the thing was not controlled and not useable and would have been filed away as top secret. But, if you find out more than the average websites, and by that, I mean real hard data on how to make the stuff, let us know. I used to work for a man named Dennis Hanson. He was an exceptionally clear thinker and we often referred to the "Dennis Hanson Reasonableness Check". Dennis?would take each rumor that came by, and talk about it at the department meeting. He would never say the rumor was impossible but rather consider how reasonable it was plus its consequences.
?
In the case of a technology that could make a person or thing invisible, I think it is reasonable to assume that if true, it would be impossible to hide it for long.

There would be too much money to be made from its use. If it did exist, people would likely want to use it. As they found how valuable it was, they would use it more. It would quickly become "visible".

better way to go. It's not possible to stop people doing their own work, no matter how much legislation or licensing is specified, so another way needs to be found. To me the obvious way is to let people do their own work, owner-builder if you like, but insist they have it inspected cheaply before its passed. This will save lives, including those of future electricians who may have to work on it later. It wont make less work for any licensed electricians, as these owner-builder types will do their own anyway, so lets encourage them to get it inspected so no-one gets hurt. Question: Why is the current waveform sinusodal despite the voltage output Of course, sorry i was unclear. Your drawing is a 100% correct, what i showed is the first sine approximation. According to Furier Analysis you can composite any periodic signal from a number of sine signals (generally indefinitely many). the first sine signal (having the fundamental frequency of the signal itself) has normally the highest amplitude. I showed that the 1st sine approximation, which is a indicator fot the "bulk" of the signal, has phase offset. I still do not believe there is reactive power. (I think the therm "reactive" demands that there is energy delivered back to the source at some point) But we were told if there is phase offset there is reactive power so you see i don't understand. This is bothering em some 4 years now. ST |

I toyed with a design not too long ago that would have generated ai do not think you can actually get usable numbers out of it. i only did it once in a school lab this way, was a nice summer day and we wanted to go home early. amazing what you can do with a digital scope... well, we did go home early after all... But i used a professional generator then, no max038. ST -DM |
