Hi guys,
I found my R/C car motor and in the meantime also ordered one from Jameco. Both perform really well and look like they will have enough torque for PCB drilling - I hope, they are certainly not "overkill".
Anyway, I noticed that on both motors there are two small ceramic caps between the power terminals. I don't understand why they are there and what they are doing. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Probably to stop sparking on the brushes and commutator that could interfere with radio reception.
Leon
