This was always one of the big problems. PSUD3 will have separate tabs for the schematics and the charts to avoid things being too busy. It also has vector rather than bitmap graphics so can be scaled to look good on a piece of paper. (I say this, I haven't even started on the printing function yet).
The Command/Alt/Ctrl P to print will be context specific, so if you are in the schematic it will print a schematic. If you are in one of the four chart spaces it will print that chart so hopefully will make a bit more sense.
