Some of the loco's sometimes do share similar parts. it's cost effective for the manufacturer to do so and not have to make one of a kind parts (especially on these early runs) that can drive the cost up in manufacturing a product. I have a problem with an
Atlas/Rivarossi e440 Italian Railways loco #2691 that I brought to
repower,
On removing the shell I discovered the
4 intermediate spur gears were missing from the trucks,
I'm trying to find out what other loco's
may use the same gears, would anybody know where I could get a parts
diagram for this locomotive ? Or a parts diagram for the Rivaossi EMD
SW1500 as this may use the same spur gears.
Any help would be much appreciated
