My A1G car list......

Rick Will

Hi everyone,
I finally buckled down and got my A1G cars together and made a listing to send out here on the A1G user group mailer. The list reads as follows........Atlas manufacturer number, Roadname, type of car roadnumber and added description were needed, so here it goes...........

11.#2352 ATSF 50' flat with 2 "Republic" trailers RD#90000
12.#2271b ATSF off center cupola caboose RD#1951

I will post later in the future upon finding more A1G cars as I find them to share with everyone. I made one fatal error back in 1984. I had a whole slew of A!G cars that I bought in the 60's when I was in grade school. They were all in original condition in their correct cases. I decided for some strange reason to give up on N scale back in "84" to get married. (Love has a way to screw with your mind????) I sold off everything I had to another N scaler who was just starting off. By 1989, I got back into the hobby with a fever and haven't looked back since.I sure wish now that I had those cars I sold back in "84". I didn't need to sell those A1G cars as my wife doesn't have a problem with my "railroad addiction" and she fully supports it. A word to the wise, if you ever get tried or just want to get out of the hobby for a while, please do this..........
Box everthing up and store it away or have a family member save it for you. Then you'll never be in the position that I am as wishing to have something you lost in the past...........
(I was the original owner of those original cars...................oh well)
Rick
P.S. George if you happen to read this, what do you think of adding passenger cars to the A1G list?
These do fall under the catagory of "rollingstock" and Atlas did have some during their A1G period. I can remember ATSF, PRR and B&O passenger cars that were made to go with their E7&8 locos........
(Just a suggestion)
