Re: A1G 3000 Series Pulpwood Flat Cars

Rick,
Sorry, the intention wasn't to rekindle false rumours. There was a longish thread started by someone some time ago who was complaining about still not having received his locos back after more than six months and also no replies to his enquiries. During the whole discourse there was never any input from anybody to back up the dealer. And let's face it, there's no way I or anybody else will risk mail order dealing with any business after reading something like that about them, irrespective of whether the allegations are true or not. Unless I had personal experience with them that convinced me of the opposite.
So it's good to hear another side to the story! Especially in my case - I'm on another continent altogether, with no leverage at all if I should happen to run into a problem such as the one this guy was bitching about.
Regards,

Hi Andre',
That rumour about The Freight Yard simply isn't true. I've been going
there for a couple of years and also happen to be good friends with the
owners of the store. Nothing has ever been sent to the store that never got
back to it's owner. There are a lot of N-scale club members and N-scaler
themselfs who have commission work for custom runned engines and cars that
are very satisfied with the work. Some times they do get backlogged with
work but it does get done and returned to it's owner. They can have up to
five people working together painting, decaling and custom modifications
just to get the work out. Most Saturdays I'll spend most of the day there
helping out. These guys are on the up and up and are very honest when
dealing in bussiness. I've noticed on the internet especially, that
individuals like to spread bad information around coming mostly from people
from rival stores trying to bring down their competition. In a situation
like that, it's best to let your own eyes, ears and mind make the judgement
call, not someone who's degrading a person or bussiness who can't bring
forth any factual truth to back his story up. So please don't let someone
condem the store without checking it for yourself. But Andre', I can assure
you that this is a honest bussiness, check it out for yourself.
