Re: A1G 3000 Series Pulpwood Flat Cars

Rick Will

Sorry for the delay,
I've been trying to reach my friend Jeff by e-mail about the availability of A1G cars he might have for sale. Apparently, his computer has gotten a virus and he's working on getting the bugger out. I hope to see him this weekend and I'll ask if it's ok with him to post his phone number for anyone who might be interested in calling for some cars. Also, if anyone is interested in any other N-scale items, go to
www.thefreightyard.com and checkout the site. This is a store here in Anaheim that specializes in N-scale only. They do custom runs of both engines and freight cars plus they have a section of the store called Dream Design. This is were you can design your own painting and decaling plus most any kind of features you would like on your engine(s). Example EMD SD90 in NYC road scheme with ditch lights and flashing becon. This would be a dream design because NYC never had any SD90's as the company became part of Conrail in the late 60's/early 70's. You can also come up with your own paint scheme and they can design decals if nothing is availabile on the market. This works on freight car runs too. check the site out when you have the chance.
Rick

John,
Thanks for the offer. The cars I'm looking for are the following, as shown on George Irwin's pages at

Catalog # Popup
Image Reporting
Marks Description AV
AM AV
MIB
3001 Image N&W 32850 Blue/White 6-8 7-10
3002 Image L&N 225875 Blue/White 6-8 7-10
3003 Image WM 756 Tuscan Red/White 6-8 7-10
3004 Image D&RGW 22846 Black/White 6-8 7-10

I have the Western Maryland one, but I'll even take another one if I can find it and alter the number. For WM it's a fictional car anyway, according to George, but it's still a nice looking car, especially considering its age.
Regards,
Andr? Kritzinger, Cape Town.
