Re: Beercan Tank Cars & Ore Cars

There were two blocks of stock numbers that were reused for different
body styles.

3221-3226 were used both for ore jennies and boxcars.
3241-3244 were used both for beercan tankers and refrigerator cars.

love the beercan tanks and ore cars.

Can someone tell me what the road name & numbers are for the following Atlas
stock numbers?

2461
2462

2461 - GATX; Red and White; black lettering #7792 or 7922
2462 - Atlas Chemical; Green and white; Green lettering; #1123

I have 2463 & 2464, are there other numbers in this series?

There were many other releases of the beercan tank cars after these initial
four. 323X and 324X series. At least 18 versions.

Also, in the 70 ton ore car series, I have been able to find out what all of
the stock numbers are except the following:
3219

Hmmm, I have no info on this number.

3224

Curious. I have this listed as a 40' box car - Grand Trunk Western.
Unverified.

Doug

I have catalogs going back aways and those 2 stock numbers are never
included, what were the road name/numbers?

Thanks!

Ed B.
