Item one is a Mintrix, Fairbanks-Morse H-12-44 Switcher, ("Trix" and
"Western Germany" are molded to the undercarrage) it started it's life as a
Santa Fe, but has since been custom painted to become a Southern Pacific. I

would be interested in learning the the Minitrix number for the Santa Fe
version, but would be happy with the number that Model Power sold it under
also. The ends of the Minitrix box have no printed numbers on them, but
there is a sticker on the top cover saying "Model Power pre-tested
locomotive" and another sticker on the bottom of the box on which is
handwritten "2005 Trix-Penn".
This loco was, in fact, Minitrix #2005

The others in the series were:

2001 Conrail
2002 Milwaukee Road
2003 Penn Central
2004 Union Pacific

Model Power repainted some in the following roadnames:

Weyerhauser
Apache
Canadian Pacific

Item two is an EMD GP 30, it also has a custom paint job, making it a
Cotton Belt Engine, and came to me in a clear, unlabeled, foam lined,
plastic box. On the bottom of the locomotive the words "Lima" and "Italy"
are molded into the fuel tank.
Yes, made by Lima in Italy and imported by AHM. This was AHM's 4250 - 4254
series Lima, 230L - 268L (not all numbers in between).

Item three is what I believe to be a Plymouth Industrial Switcher, but it
has only four wheels and most I have seen had six wheels. On it's
undercarrage are also molded the words "Lima" and "Italy", it too has a
custom paint job and came in a non-descript plastic box. It has one large
window opening, with no bracing in it, and one door glass opening on each
side of the cab, most I remember seeing had a brace or partition in the
larger opening.
This is the Lima MDT also imported by AHM. It is actually way over scale,
probably closer to HO scale with a 9 mm gauge! AHM series 4265 - 4269. Lima nos.
271 - 278.

Doug

Any help you, or this group, could provide leading me a bit farther along

in my quest would be most definitely appreciated.

Thank you
Jimi
