I would like to see this group continue. I have been in N scale since Thanksgiving 1967 when I received my first N scale trainset. This was an Arnold Rapido 0-6-0 and some freight cars. This little locomotive still runs well.
Finally, I am creating a list of everything I have collected since then. This list and its links and archives really have helped. I have had items to sell but by the time I found them the potential buyer either no longer needed them or lost interest.
Arnold Rapido, Minitrix, Con-Cor, Atlas and so on have evolved into many new brands and great models I could not dream of in 1970. The Atlas/Rivarossi passenger cars to me were wonderful. The Atlas/Rivarossi steam locomotives were wonderful in spite of their faults. Now we have even more wonderful steam models and diesels, and electrics, and turbines, and rolling stock. Great hobby. 55 years.
I also have a Lionel electric that dates from around the early 1920s.
