Yep, I totally understand it is a labour of love.. (same as your great MT archive)

Over the past few years, I've been gathering variations that I notice.? BUT (not being a complestionist collector, I'm finding this to be an expensive rabbit hole I dont need to go down.?

So I'm thining down my variation collection down to what prototypialy fits my vintage layout plans.? I'll post side by side with what I have found... (some known, some new ones.)

(I know this isn't a sale site so I wont go into detail, but if anyone needs to fill out their vintage collection, email me at learmoia-gmaildotcom)??

I'll try to get more variation pics over the next few days.??

(Are we allowed to discuss other vintage mfgs?)

Ian,

I do in fact have the thick and thin lettering versions of the 2286 PRR 40 Double Door Boxcar on the A1G site... right on the 2280 page.

I get to variations as I add them to the accumulation or as people submit photos to me.? Don Dautel sent over the photo of the thick/thin PRR boxcar <and> granted permission to post it on the A1G site.

Keep in mind that this is not my day job...
