The Tempest ? As the car approached the castle, Temepest looked over at Scarlett. The woman leaned over and kissed the other woman's lips gently, a soft smile turning her lips upwards as her hand touched Scarlett's cheek. "You look beautiful," she said. "There is no need to be nervous. He will love you," Tempest, offering Scarlett what she thought was reassurance.? ? Today was the day Tempest was taking Scarlett to meet her mentor. The very man behind the reason why she was who she was today--Angus Wolfram. Angus was her mentor. Her teacher. Her...Master. He was her sire and had been instrumental in her fall. He had been the one to pick up the pieces when everyone else abandoned her. He had been the one to help her find purpose when the world she knew collapsed. He had been the reason for her awakening. The reason why her eyes were now open to the truth that so many others...even her brother, tried to hide from her. He was the catalyst for her walking away from the false worlds of holiness and hypocrisy. And once she put those lies behind her, she walked away and never looked back. ? As the car pulled up into the large circular drive and parked, the driver quickly got out and opened the door for them. Tempest slid out first, then held her hand out for Scarlett to take. "Remember to keep your eyes down unless he asks you to look at him. Stay close and a step behind me. But when he speaks to you, speak. At some point during the evening, I will have to break away from you. When I do, please feel free to mingle. If anyone bothers you, anyone at all, you come find me. Do you understand?" She said, stroking the woman's cheek.? Scarlett MacAleister
It was the summer of 1986 and Scarlett and Tempest were in Scotland, at the Castle Wolfram overlooking the coast looking out into the darkness at the rough waters of the North Sea. Funny, at one time during World War II she had guessed Wolfram might be in this castle -- one of many she'd considered around Scotland, but when she's tried to check it out, she learned no one had resided here for 50 years at that time. Now standing here with Tempest going to see the man who killed her fianc¨¦, Scarlett surmised the elder vampire possibly moved around from property to property over the years to avoid detection from those who may seek to harm him. She heard Tempest's warning and nodded, her fear showing as Tempest prepared to take her inside. As her friend and lover stroked her cheek, Scarlett sighed and offered a faint smile at Tempest. "I understand," she told her. "If anyone bothers me? You do know I can take care of myself?" Scarlett adjusted the leather miniskirt she wore and removed the oversized sunglass she wore, sticking them into her purse as they stepped away from the car and walked toward the entrance.

Hello looked at her and smiled, "my wife, huh. Is that a proposal, Khada?" He asked her as he brushed her cheek. "If it is, my answer is yes...but thought you weren't sure about this. What's changed, my love?"

Khadashee?

Khadashee blushed at his words. Was that what this? Was she proposing to him?
?
Khadashee brushed her cheek against his hand. "Was that too forward of me? She paused. "Well, I am going to be the mother of your child. I want us to be a family. Before, I was fearful of what being married would do to us. I felt love before, and I thought he loved me like I love him. In the end, I was wrong, and when the smoke cleared, as his wife, I was trapped. I never wanted to feel that feeling again. "?
?
"But I trust Draven. I love you,"? she said as she looked up into his eyes holding his cheeks in her hands? "I just can't imagine my life without you. I want to be by your side for as long as life will permit it. And if I am going to be by your side, I want to be by your side as your wife, with all the privileges that come with that title."

Scarlett
?
The redhead nodded. Interesting that Tempest had not shared her story with Zuriel. But if he and she were at odds with one another, maybe she did not have a reason to tell him.
?
She turned and looked outside at the darkness around the car as it drove to wherever Zuriel was taking them. ?
Then, the vampire told Zuriel how Wolfram killed her fianc¨¦ before draining her of her blood and leaving her for dead...knowing she would rise again, while the man she loved would not. After turning, Scarlett spent years searching for the vampire who had done this to her. More than 100 years passed until one day in 1968 she learned of Tempest and the vampire she served known as Wolfram.
?
Scarlett knew it was him. The monster who took her true love and left her the wander the earth as an immortal vampire. She got close to Tempest, submitted to her and let her believe she was her loyal servant...all so she could get close to Wolfram and exact her revenge.
?
The redhead told Zuriel that for twenty years she would meet with Tempest at places around the world and they would embark on days, sometimes weeks long sessions where she submitted to the other woman -- all to gain her trust so one day she would introduce her to her master -- Wolfram. That day finally came in 1986 outside Edenborough, Scotland in a castle belonging to the elusive vampire known as Angus Wolfram. Tempest brought her there to finally meet the man she called master...

Re: Making a Selection (Victoria, Vincent, Colin)
(Tori) Tori sat down in a chair, thoughtfully. ¡°A bit of a player, but his father wants him to settle down. Based on all you are saying, I don¡¯t imagine that this betrothal will be a love match but more a match of convenience. Without knowing his type, we will need to find someone who we all consider to be universally beautiful. Someone who is open to the potential of a loveless marriage and who is coachable. Someone who understands that they will need to be turned and looks at this as an adventure. Someone who is open to the possibility of children. Someone who understands etiquette and decorum since they¡¯ll be marrying into Noble house. You definitely have made it so that we have our work cut out for us, Father, but I have no doubt Colin and I will succeed in the endeavor.
?
¡±What I suggest is that you find at least five women in that book that you think you would want to bestow our family line upon based on looks. After you selected the five, Colin and I will interview them. From there we can pick two and you and mother can decide which one of the two you would like to go with. Or you can just present the two to the Gerard family and let them choose which one they want to marry off to their son.¡±
?
She looked at her brother then. ¡°what do you think Colin. you traverse these circles, you know and are familiar with these type¡ if not are one yourself,¡± she said, teasing her brother. What do you think is the best way to go?¡±

Re: Raconteur City: Reunited (Ariein, Hollywood, Diego, Elisiana)
(Ari) What was he hoping for when he asked the question, that maybe they were working together on the strength of what they once were to each other? That maybe because she was their sire maybe she felt the same kind of obligation to help Eli that he did¡despite the distance, time and animus. But her tone¡ the abruptness of her words. Her threat.? He frowned.?
He turned to her. ¡°Bring me into who Hollywood? Did you forget who I am? My rank? Why I am here? I don¡¯t report to you or take my order from your Prince. And the fact that he almost got himself killed to someone like me simply means he a piss poor Prince with bad security.
"I don¡¯t take kindly to threats Hollywood. I agreed to work with you for one reason and it wasn¡¯t because of your job. And if I¡¯m not mistaken before we drove here I specifically asked you if you were prepared to turn your back on that job. I can see now you¡¯re not. Which means we have a conflict of interest. Good luck with your investigation Hollywood. This is where you and I part ways.¡± He said.
(Hollywood) Hollywood gave him a shrug. He was right, on all accounts, except for maybe the bad security. She didn't say anything else, figuring there was nothing else to say. She turned and kept going on her hunt for evidence of where Eli may have gone. She had a job to do and no matter who they were to her, she was going to do her job.
Soon she was upstairs and heightened her senses to begin her search for where Eli had been. Soon she had her evidence and called the Prince to inform him of what she had found.
