"I am not a grumpy ogre!" the Dragon snarled, little wisps of smoke emerging from his nostrils. His scale-ridged eyes blinked reflectively for a moment before he amended himself, grumbling less loudly "Well, I'm not an ogre, anyway."

"Oh, I left quite a bit of chicken in the soup, mistress," Angus said as he ladled soup into a large ceramic bowl he retrieved from under the cart.? "I can't get the master to eat anything unless there's a fair amount of meat in it." He glanced uncertainly at Mikayla and the Dragon, then at the bowl he was holding.? "Will you be needing anything else to... to serve the Master with, mistress? I'm not sure if he can manage drinking from this bowl."

"I am not a child to be fed, Angus!" the Dragon fumed.? "You may leave us.? Go... go find something to clean," he said finally, weakly waving a taloned hand in dismissal.? When the serving man had departed, he turned a suspicious eye towards Mikayla.? "Just how _do_ you plan on feeding me, girl?"

She rolled her eyes as he turned his ire on Angus. She gave Angus a soft smile as he departed and stood. "And that is why I called you a grumpy ogre. You were just incredibly rude to the one person in this world who cares for you and wants to help you for simply wanting to help you. But you are right," she said as she moved to the main barrel where Angus had left the soup, she took the large ladle out and moved back to him. "But you are right, you are not an ogre, i insult ogre by using them to describe you."? She teased?

"I plan to help you eat by using this," she said dipping the ladle into the ceramic bowl. She blew on the soup for a bit, in the way a mother would do and then turn to him " Do you plan to let me help or will you shout me away too?" she asked poised with the delicious smelling soup, ready to spoon into his mouth.??
