¡±Miss MacAleister, we have been sent here to investigate the happenings from yesterday evening. Can we come in,¡± the sound of the echoey voice filled the space. It was as if two people were talking at once: one male and one female, ?but there appeared to be only one person standing there.?
¡°We are not here for violence so there is no need to bring any forward. We would like you to answer some question for us and then we could be on our way. Can we come in?¡± Scarlett MacAleister?
"What kind of creepy vampire shit is this," Scarlett thought to herself as she looked at the shadowy figure at the door, speaking in two voices. Slowly she shook her head and stepped back, opening the door. "Come in," she said, allowing "them" into her safehouse. Once they were in, she shut the door behind them and turned to see who or what had come through the doorway.
