His blood poured into her mouth. Filling her mind with sights and sounds and memories. When it was all said and done all she could do was sit panting in a daze. Her voice was soft. Shock filled her tone. ¡°You killed him.¡±

Vincent's wounds closed quickly and he rolled his sleeves back down, buttoning the cuffs, "it was a long time ago. An old rivalry that went back centuries. When I saw the opportunity, I took it. Your mother and I were planning one keeping Anais until she birthed the two of you. We were unaware that they had made a blood bond between them. Theirs was more than a simple bond. They were bound by the heart. They had been betrothed and were bound by much more than a mere blood bond." He paused to let them think and ask any questions they might have at the moment.?
