Re: Raconteur City: The Midnight Society Mayham (Scarlett, NPC Prince, Diego)

Vespasian
Without stopping to answer the other vampire, the Prince moved out from the door and using his vampiric speed, was in the van. He looked at Scarlett, "you have a choice here. To come with me or remain here." He told her, "but do make the decision quickly."

Scarlett
The curvy, redheaded vampire looked back down the tunnel they had emerged from into the parking garage and considered what to do next. If she let the prince go by himself and something happened to him, she would likely be held responsible in some way.?
If she went with him and this rebellion of vampires caught up with them, she would probably suffer the same fate as the prince.
As much as she didn't want to be any more involved in this matter than she already was, Scarlett took a deep breath before stepping up into the back of the van with the blacked out windows. She decided to stay the course and see this through to whatever end it came to.
Once inside she closed the van door and the wheel-man gunned the engine and took off heading out of the parking deck, a black panel rising between the rear compartment and the drivers area, confirming for her the driver was some kind of familiar -- a human servant of the Midnight Society, no doubt.
Together she and Vespasian sat in the rear of the van as it sped away and she hoped they would be able to make it from here to wherever the safehouse was located. If the walls of the van were pierced somehow, the sunlight outside would kill both she and the prince.
Looking over at Vespasian, who she could see clearly with her nightvision, Scarlett offered a faint smile at the prince she did not know and said, "I guess I'm with you. Can I ask where we're going?"
