Diego made his way to one of the rooms and went through to the windows. Once there he stepped outside onto the fire escape, then measured the distance to the ground. Once sure he could drop without hurting himself, he climbed up onto the railing, then dropped to the ground below. He knew where the stair well excited and made his wait outside the door. If the shooter continued to the street level it was the only way for them to get out.
