Roddy found the outdoor workout area without a problem.? And as Misty had said, there was only one person there.

"So, you're Donny, then?" he asked, stepping towards the strapping youth who appeared to be practicing some martial arts forms.? Roddy didn't know any martial arts himself, but he'd seen plenty of kung-fu/karate movies.? Enough to recognize the moves, anyways.? "I'm Roddy," he said, extending his hand.? "I'm new here."


(Donny)
Donny had stopped his movements when he saw a new boy approaching him. Why was he coming directly to him? He wondered. He didn't except the offered hand, but crossed his arms over his chest instead, "Yeah, I am Donny. Who sent you out here and why?" He was always a little stand offish until he knew the person was safe to know.

"Well, we need more students," Del said, gesturing at the layout of the Academy grounds.? "What we have is a start, but we need to fill all of these dorms.? No one really cares if it's just a handful of kids nobody knows that gets shoved around, especially in the media.? But get enough kids to turn this place into a scene from one of those young mutant superhero movies that were so popular a few years back and they'll start to care."

She looked to her lover with serious intent.? "It's good that we get occasional finds from the police and other LEO's, but we need more.? And we need to find them before they end up in real trouble.? So I want to go out and see if I can find them before that happens.? And before anyone else does."

With a smile, "my love, always thinking of the students. Good luck in your search. If you need assistance, just give me a call." She gave her love a gentle kiss before heading off to call her father.
