I have the jpg of the Keyingham parish register showing the baptism on 20 Nov 1798, because that page also shows the marriage of my gr-gr-gr-grandparents that year.? The wording is exactly as stated below.

How did you find where Grice was in 1822?

From census entries Hannah was born Keyingham, Yorkshire c 1799

There is a baptism of Hannah Watson illegitimate daughter of Ann JACKSON on 20 Nov 1798, Keyingham. You won't find a birth certificate prior to 1837.

The reason I think the Hannah JACKSON who married to Robert ALVIN is Grice¡¯s mother is because in some bios of Grice he said he was living at Cherry Cobb Sands where his parents farmed a smallholding. Grice age 5 or 9 left Owthorne and went to Cherry Cobb Sands. If I can find Hannah's birth certificate I think I will have the answer
