¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

If it was for Female how can there be males on the same page.

?

As I explained earlier ¨C check out the videos on the FMP website they explain everything

?

KOL F 118 4

KOL is the district as can be determined at

?

Will show that KOL is Selby in Yorkshire

As Selby is an Urban district it was broken down into smaller chunks hence the F there would have been A, B, C, D and E before it

?

The 118 is the schedule number

And the 4 would be the person position in the household

?

Lecturer on the 1939 register amongst others

?

Subject: [yorksgen] 1939 records

?

Recently checking the 1939 records I have discovered that the I.D. cards issued are somehow connected to the records.

My aunt still has hers and the I. D.?

KOLf then a number corresponding to the number in the household ie No 8.

What does the KOL and f stand for.

My guess is the f is female but unsure.
