With the one that died in 2006 if you have the death certificate and know someone with a FMP account then you can get them to have it unlocked.

?

Alternatively, you could do it via the TNA but that would cost you.

?

As Ancestry only get a new set of images from TNA once a year it is not possible for them to be able to unlock the records

?

The reason that Gladys¡¯s surname is crossed out is that she married someone with the surname SCOTT ¨C the date and the KOL show when and where the change was made.

The two other entries in the family show other possible children who have not yet died ¨C or the birth details on the death do not match. Also possible that they died recently and the details of deaths post 2006 are not available

Checking the 1936 census.

Found my grandparents on my mother's side.

Looking at the actual record book image you can see that my mother's name Sandham Gladys is crossed out and the name Scott inserted.

Some other text dated.

What was this all about and why?
