I am not a steam guy, so I lurk here to learn and ask questions.? I started this project a long time ago, and thought I had asked this quesetion before, but could not find the answer in my search.? Given the stack on the attached, what type of fuel would this engine use...wood as I recall?? If so, then should I stack some wood on the back for fuel.? All direction appreciated.? Thank you,
?

Kent ! Wow ! That little loco is a keeper ! Originally an MDC 3in1 kit 1550 I think . Had my own HS for 10 years always on back order never got one . Nice score .Since it is fitted with a big screen ? Mostly wood , cheap coal ? Build a cage if you go wood as it takes a lot of it to keep this teapot steaming . As wide as the sides , tall as the cab at the peak maybe use window screen ? Have fun ! Just as aside ? That stack seems just a tad bit too high ?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIt just goes to show that you don¡¯t ¡®run out of rain¡¯.? Most of Texas has been in a prolonged drought; if it ain¡¯t raining here, especially over such a large area, somebody is getting too much! Denis |

No, I didn't bid. I though of posting it here, but I didn't want to affect the bidding. They do look like Belle drivers, if so they had a high gear ratio. The pilot and cylinders look like they could be from one as well. The brass plate underneath might be holding a spliced frame together. Nelson --- In yardbirdtrains@..., John <jbopp007@...> wrote:
