Just wanted to post an update regarding the content of the Yahoo group¡¯s QY70 forum:
?I got an email from Yahoo that allowed me to request that they archive all of the conversations files images etc, ?that I should be able to use to populate this new group. ?
I requested it about a week ago and Yahoo told me they will let me know when it¡¯s ready via email, but so far I have not heard anything.
? My guess is they are still perfecting the archival procedure as well as handling probably hundreds of requests to archive decades worth of data, so it may be a while. I will post with updates as things progress. ? ? One way or the other, I will make an effort to grab as much information from the old site as possible, but I will wait to see what Yahoo comes up with as I am sure there content extraction would be far more all-encompassing and would also save a great deal of time and effort versus doing it manually.?
