Re: VSTi FM Synths

thx for the link !
I downloaded and installed the demo.
4 min of usage is not much, but I was able reloading the standalone- and
plugin- version every 4 minutes and checked it out more deeply.
VST2, VST3 and standalone,- on a Lenovo W540 (quad i7, 2.5GHz) Windows
10 Pro laptop w/ 2 SSDs and 16GB of RAM.
This is a great plugin !
I?d say it really can do in a DAW what a DX7mkIIFD, TX802 and TX216 do
in hardware.
Surprisingly low CPU too and in dual-mode.
In Reaper, together w/ ReaLimit in VSTi channel and 2 more plugins in
the master section (Loudmax and Voxengo Span) I got 3,75% CPU regardless
of voicecount, just playing polyphonic like I do w/ the hardware.
I can imagine buying it.

I say as a DX7mkII, TX816 and TG77 1st owner using the hardware still.
Owned the old DX7 before I bought the DX7mkIIFD.

When the mightl come w/ a "quad-synth" version mimking 4x2 TF-1 modules
under the hood, that would be ice on the cake.
4 instances will do too even I?d expect better handling from a single
plugin on a single track.

:-)
