No audio in Yaesu MD-100A8X Microphone and yaesu md-100 A8X

I have a Yaesu MD-100A8X microphone connected to a Yaesu FT-847 radio and when I press the PTT the radio shows a carrier going out and the carrier is being seen by all parties but no audio. Through the repeater..

I don¡¯t think the problem is in the radio because when I connect the hand microphone it works OK.

I have no idea how to troubleshoot this but I am a quick learner. I replaced the mic. To radio cord but I still have the problem.
