The 60 metre mod is easily done by simply widebanding the radio.?
60 metres is not in the processor, as 60 metres was not thought of when the radio was new.?
Ref 4 metres, I looked in to doing the mods, and came to the conclusion that a transverter was both easier and cheaper.?
The TX output is easy, removing one cap in PA, but if looking at a SA on the output, there are nasty sprogs at around 48 Mhz that would need filtering out, which involves messing with bpf.?
HI, how are you getting on with the information for your mod information requested? It seems to have stopped are you having it done? Are you going to do it yourself??
Is there anybody who is willing to do the mod on an 847 as suggested by Leighton GW3FSP.
Best regards
