Hey all, just found this group. Maybe this is a stupid question but bear with me. Is there a way to get RX-only on HF (or disable TX on the the antenna port)? I don¡¯t use HF much in my 847 and got the idea to maybe hook that antenna port up to the RX-out on my FTDX3000. But I don¡¯t want to fry it by accidentally keying up my FT-847.
Is something like this viable? Or should I just buy another receiver like I was planning to do before I got this idea¡
