YI MIssion
I have just returned from a remarkable trip to Eretz Yisroel. I had the zechus to join the National Council of Young Israel's? 3 day mission. The 3 days were packed with full days of meeting amazing people doing amazing things for Klal Yisroel. I would like to share some of my impressions with our shul and will spend a few minutes after davening this shabbos morning relating some of the highlights of the trip.?

Tehillim for Adar
Dear friends, As we enter the month - in fact, the two months - of Adar, we remember that ?????? ??? ????? ?????, joy comes with the arrival of Adar. Rashi explains that the months of Adar and Nissan are auspicious for miracles and deliverance. We hope and pray that these months will indeed bring miracles and deliverances to our troubled people. The chapter of Tehillim that Chazal associate with Purim is chapter 22, every word of which speaks powerfully to us at this time. I would suggest that rather than choosing two other chapters, for the duration of Adar we recite this perek after davening, followed by acheinu. I am attaching a beautiful explanation of the perek, given by my daughter, Mrs. Chava Konigsberg. I am sure you will be inspired by it. All the best, EBS |

For us in the diaspora one of the must troubling aspects of this period is the way in which our enemies have coopted the language of morality, as if Israel was the genocidal criminal, and our enemies were fighters for freedom. ?? ????? ??????, it feels like the moral basis of society has been upended and ruined. But we know that the arbiter of morality is not in the Hague, nor does He write for the NY Times; ?' ???? ???? ???? ????? ??? ???? ????, Hashem distinguishes who is righteous, and the evil lovers of violence (???) are hated by Him.?
