A question today: Are DOGS allowed?
The happy answer is YES THEY ARE!
The rules are simple and common sense:
In a nutshell,
- They must be leashed or under control at all times
- Clean up after them, bags may be available
- If they become a nuisance, time to leave
- Provide sufficient water at all times, there is a spigot for potable water near the pavilion and playground, and i think also in the RV lot.
Please familiarize yourself with state park rules for pets before arriving.? This is a beautiful park, there are several trails of varying difficulty, and take precautions for ticks or poison ivy. ?Trails are multi-purpose, used by hikers, bicycles, and horseback riding.? Be alert for other park users, and share the trails with others.
